Step 1: Figure out How Many Clients You Want
One of the biggest stresses among gym owners is uncertainty…they hate it.
The best way to have certainty, which will give you confidence, is to know exactly what you need.
Re-visiting my example from above, the gym with 100 members will lose 36 a year which comes to 3/month.
This means that in order to stay the same they need 3 new members a month, to grow to 136 members, they need to add 6 new clients a month
Here’s where most get overwhelmed because they say I need to add 48 clients this year!
But if you look deeper into the numbers things get much better
If you convert at 50% you’ll need 12 leads to get 6 clients in the month
If you break this down weekly, you only need 3 leads a week!
Knowing the numbers is the cure for overwhelm and will give you the confidence that you can do this.

Step 2: Decide on Your Perfect Client
When I first opened my gym I trained athletes, adults, post rehab, teams, ran kids camps and had even had a fat loss bootcamp.
It was an impossible job to market this business.
The most important decision you can ever make as a business owner is WHO is the perfect client for your business….and do everything possible to repel others in favor of your perfect person
This is a very scary decision for some, for others, it's the decision that changes the game.
